"I think we had the first actual “End of Fashion Week” party – we did a “Blue Jeans and Burgers” party at Rex co-hosted by Cindy, Linda, Christy, and Naomi in, I believe, 1991," said Rabin. "And Fern Mallis let us throw two massive parties to end Fashion Week in the tents in Bryant Park in the early 1990s."
The fashion flock, actors, and old-skool New York celebrities (both Hilton sisters!) partied like it was 2019 last night as Saks Fifth Avenue hosted a party at its restaurant, L’Avenue, for its new fall campaign. The event was co-hosted by Sarah Paulson, who stars in the campaign, and Saks CEO Marc Metrick.
The late great Bill Cunningham is being celebrated once again with a new exhibition of his work, Experience the Times of Bill Cunningham. The immersive experience opened over the weekend at Live Rocket Studios (home of the former Abercrombie and Fitch store at South Street) with a very Bill Cunningham approved crowd on hand.
